With generous funding from the Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence in Louisville, Kentucky, we are building a vibrant Jewish community here at Western Kentucky University.
With the hiring of Dr. Timothy Riggio Quevillon as the JHFE Visiting Professor of Jewish History, WKU and the Department of History hope to build an atmosphere where Jewish students can feel seen and heard, engage in Jewish scholarship, regularly partake in Jewish observances and celebrations, get to know Jewish faculty on campus, and enjoy a growing sense of Jewish community here on campus.
